As a studied communication scientist, photographer, long-time model and trained make-up artist, Maren Richter has been advising and supporting people for many years in discovering their potential, making it visible in their personal appearance and positioning themselves professionally in an optimal and authentic way. From styling and outfit consultation to an confident and charismatic presence.
PERSONALITY SHOOTINGS
In addition to mentoring, a personality shoot can also be booked. This allows the new, strengthened self to be captured in pictures and helps overcome camera shyness.
With her trained eye as a photographer, artist and model Maren Richter sees the true beauty that every person has when they are allowed to be real and authentic. Thus, her portraits show more than the surface of the person. They show the personality, the soul and the heart.

‘The camera gave me freedom.’
As a teenager, Maren Richter was discovered on the street as a model and immediately after graduating from high school, she moved away from the small German town where she always felt confined. First to Milan, from where she travelled around the world for years doing shoots for major brands. And later to Munich.
When she became pregnant she took the next step and moved behind the camera. It is photography that gives her creative freedom and the opportunity to discover and capture beauty.
"Every person has so much inner and outer beauty that often remains hidden. Because people have been belittled or don't believe in themselves properly. My personality shoots have had an almost therapeutic effect on many of my clients. Especially in combination with mentoring and styling advice," says Maren, who studied communication sciences and trained as a make-up artist alongside her modelling career.
Maren Richter is an internationally practising photographer, mentor & artist from Munich, Germany. She specialises in authentic and characterful portraits of inspiring people and places that she discovers on her many travels.
Maren has been working as an internationally successful model for brands such as BMW, Credit Suisse, Coca Cola, Triumph and Playtex for over 25 years.
In 2011, she shifted her focus behind the camera and founded Studio Maren Richter.
Maren Richter was also voted one of the 200 best photographers in the world by Lürzer's Archive.
Free artistic work also plays an important role in her life. Whether thematic photo projects such as ‘Women in Town,’ portrait and architectural photography from her many travels around the world, or photo art, in which she creates abstract works of art in mixed media style from her photos printed on canvas in her studio on Lake Ammersee. Her photo art has been exhibited several times. An overview of currently available images is available on request.
Mentoring and shooting can be booked together or separately. Approximately one day is scheduled for each. Mentoring can also be provided on an ongoing basis over a period of time (250 EUR/h). The accompanying mentoring usually takes place independent of location as a video call.
